Muallima (Female Teacher) Required
We need a full time Muallima to teach at our Madressah in Bradford
Duties

  • Develop and implement lesson plans. Deliver lectures to ladies in Quran and Hadith
  • Create a positive and engaging learning environment for students
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback on their performance
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement educational programs
  • Communicate with parents or guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records

Qualifications
Must have Dars e Nizami Certificate and Certificate in Tajveed from a reputable seminary

  • Strong knowledge of Deen and Hadith
  • Proficiency in Spoken and written English
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively manage a classroom and engage students in learning
  • Patience and understanding when working with diverse student populations
  • Strong organizational skills to effectively plan lessons and manage student records
  • Adaptability to meet the individual needs of students with different learning styles

Minister of Religion – Imam & Khateeb

Job description

Umm-Ul-Qura Islamic Centre Bradford UK is looking for the Imam(s) to take a leading part in religious and educational projects in order to serve the diverse community.

The Imam will be expected to facilitate a variety of activities and events to promote Islamic awareness/values among Adults, Youth and the wider community. There shall be potential for training, growth and development in this post, provided the selected candidate shows reasonable competence, willingness and motivation to advance.

Main Duties and Responsibilities will include:

Leading five daily prayers, as well as Taraweeh prayer during the month of Ramadan

Delivering weekly Friday, and annually Eid Ul-Fitr and Eid Al-Adha sermons based on the teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah with the understanding of As-Salaf As-Salih

Experience in teaching Islamic subjects

Excellent interpersonal skills, strong initiative, negotiation and influential skills

Confidence in providing information for members of the public and organisations by phone, email, letter, presentation and/or events.

Ability to deliver speeches in different languages including English, Arabic and Urdu

Must be an adherent of Ahl Us-Sunnah Wal-Jama’ah i.e. Salafi/ Ahlul Hadith
